
Andy was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, in 1955.
Following his passion for wildlife, Andy began studying at the University of Natal in 1975 and completed his BSc in Biological Science three years later.
Andy then extended his knowledge in the field working as research assistant to the Chief Veterinary Officer in the wildlife research section of the Department of
Veterinary Services. During his two years in this position, Andy was involved in many aspects of wildlife management notably capture and translocation of
game for National Parks, as well as research in diseases affecting both game and livestock.
In 1980, Andy started guiding professionally in Zimbabwe,
followed by Zambia, Central African Republic and then in Tanzania.
Andy is passionate about wildlife conservation and is pleased to have a career that has a positive impact on preservation of Tanzania’s ecosystem.
