Safaris are conducted in specially designed 4 wheel drive
safari vehicles: customized Land Rovers or Land Cruisers. They are
comfortable and tough, allowing you to go places and see things that wouldn't
be possible in lesser vehicles. The wide
roof hatches are perfect for photography and a fridge in every vehicle ensures
a constant supply of cold drinks. Each car has both an HF and a VHF radio so that
wherever you are in the country you are never out of contact with your camp or the base camp back in Arusha.
On our Classic Tented Safaris the camp equipment is transported by 4 or 6
wheel drive military trucks, accessing our exclusive camp areas far away from more
traveled routes.
On some safaris that fly into lodges or permanent tented camps, game drives
may take place in vehicles resident at that location. These are sometimes open and
may be shared with other guests at the lodge.

Flying in Tanzania is both safe and reliable. Because of the distances
involved, and the state of some of the roads, flying is an opportunity to see
the country from the air while cutting out long road journeys.
Every aircraft used is professionally maintained and inspected to
manufacturer's specifications, is flown by an experienced and highly qualified
pilot and reaches our uncompromising standards of safety.
